So, I'm going to go watch Stabilo for the first time in Collingwood...
can ANYONE tell me what I should expect from these guys?

I have never had the priveledge of seeing them live yet - but I hear they're awesome. I did meet them and got to see them film their video for OMP - they're great guys!

Man, what were these guys like when you met them?
Did they seem pretty stoked to meet a fan?

Well, they were in the middle of filming a music video so I didn't want to bother them too much.
They were gracious and funny - signed autographs while they were getting make-up, let us take pics of them getting made up, posed for pics (see my avatar ) and were just very kind and accomodating and all of this went down as they were doing their video - so that's pretty great of them.
So, to make a long story short, yeah I guess they were pretty happy to see us.

oh my gosh, you've never seen them live...you are in for a treat! they are amazing! they know how to get the crowd into it, but that's not hard because they play one note and everyone usually loves them. they are extremely talented musicians and i love how they switch around their guitars and both jesse and chris play piano too. it's fabulous! i've been missing stabilo these days in calgary! they are really great about hanging out after their shows, meeting their fans, and signing autographs. enjoy the show and let us know what your experience is.

I WISH I could finally see them live!!! It's just never worked out for one reason or another. I live 40 minutes away from Collingwood too, but I can't go this weekend - we're going away for March break. So there's yet another missed opportunity.
ONE DAY!!!!!!!!!
In the meantime, I come here and support them as best I can - they're a terrific band.
