Hi everyone

Just wanted to say hello and see how everyone is doing

I gave up the Golden Globes for a new show I'm totally hooked on - True Blood (HBO) Actually, I haven't watched awards shows in years (ick) but I did watch the red carpet to see what everyone was wearing

We went to see Benjamin Button on Saturday night and I just LOVED it! What a wonderful movie!!!! It was so nice not to be disappointed for a change. Also saw a trailer for a movie I can barely wait to see - The Soloist - with Robert Downey Jr. and Jamie Foxx. It looks like it'll be amazing *I hope*

Other than that, nothing else new - I get back to work Saturdays starting this week and everything else is just the BLAH of winter.

Hey Laura!

Things are pretty uneventful here too. It feels like I don't have nearly as much to do this term as I did last term, but I'm probably just ignoring the things that I do need to do. It will all come back to haunt me in a couple months, I'm sure. I never heard of True Blood, but then again, I hardly pay attention to television anymore. I do believe that The Office starts up again this week, and it's one of the few shows that I watch regularly.

I really want to see Benjamin Button, and I've heard such good things about it. I did go see Gran Torino the other day with my dad and it wasn't too bad. Not great, but still pretty good.

Anyway, I feel like I'm going to fall asleep here at my computer, so I'm going to go.

Interesting about Gran Torino - I don't know anyone who has seen it, but everyone on TV makes it sound like the second coming or something! I'll wait until it comes out on video and then I'll rent it. Thanks for the review

One movie I've consistently heard total rave reviews from - and from a ton of people - is Slumdog Millionaire. Starting with my girlfriends who saw it at the Toronto Film Fest......I've got to see that one of these days.

Sorry for the slow reply...things are starting to get busy again.

I don't know if I've ever really heard of Slumdog Millionaire, although the title sounds somewhat familiar. I'll have to look into it.

And I always try my best to answer the lonely posts. Unfortunately, my schedule often works against me though.
