Hi everyone biggrin.gif

Does it feel a bit like the twilight zone around here lately? unsure.gif
These new members......I REALLY wish an admin would come and help the mods get rid of the awful spammer profiles. As for others - I'm hoping if it's ignored it'll go away.....anyone have any better ideas feel free.
Okay. Rant over tongue.gif

The anniversary party last weekend was amazing. We made a lot of people very happy and everything - from the surprises to the food - was perfect! A bit hectic driving to Montreal and back in 3 days, but well worth it smile.gif

Justin - just in case you missed it, Stef posted some tips about North York in my summer concert topic......how's that going, BTW?

I hope everyone has a Father's Day weekend!

Hello!

Didn't realize it was a huge problem but I'll try and log in more often to help you keep it under control!

Glad your weekend went well smile.gif I read the previous topic just didn't get around to commenting because I'm terrible. I don't even have an excuse, my roommate is in Canada visiting her family and thus I have the apartment to myself and haven't really done much after work every night except marathon Six Feet Under and re-watch old Buffy episodes or play guitar hero haha. My parents were up for a few days at the start of last week which was nice though! Got to show them around Edinburgh and do a day trip up to Stirling etc. Other than that not much new around here. I'm off all weekend for once which is kind of exciting except that it would be better if it was a weekend when my roommate was home because we could have gotten some more travelling done. I need to stop being a wuss and do some travelling on my own but that kind of terrifies me haha.

Have a great weekend everyone smile.gif

No worries, Allie - it's the PROFILES I want gone. We can't do anything about that and thanks for getting rid of those other weird ones - I wasn't 100% sure what to make of them. smile.gif

And you're NOT terrible smile.gif You just have a life wink.gif tongue.gif

You know, if I was in a foreign country I'm not sure I'd be brave enough to travel around on my own either. Start small and build - maybe that'll help bolster your courage smile.gif

Have a great weekend and thanks for everything smile.gif

Hi Laura,
Thanks for the heads up about the other post. I read Stef's advice, and taking that into account with some other mixed things, I'm starting to think that I don't want to settle on that apartment building if I don't have to. Haven't had much luck with other ones though. I still have a bit of time to figure it out, but the sooner I establish a moving date, the easier it is for my dad to get time off to drive me down.

I also find those spam profiles annoying. What I find really sad is that someone has enough time to create those accounts, or to at least make a program that does the spamming for them. To each their own I suppose, but I just find it sad what some people consider a job or hobby lol.

Hey Allie, I've actually been meaning to watch Six Feet Under. I usually watch almost no TV, but I've been bored lately and starting to watch Dexter (which I'm greatly enjoying). Six Feet Under is currently next on my list of highly recommended shows. Because you had a marathon, I take it that you would also recommend it? tongue.gif
